Carve out your dungeon
Dig through solid rock, shape rooms, and fill your domain with workshops, beds, thrones, altars, and traps.
A small independent game studio, currently making Malignus.
Making the game we want to play.
Official trailer
Dig out your lair, keep your grumbling minions fed and in line, fill your halls with traps, and raid the world above for treasure, while adventurers fight to take it all back.
The game
In many fantasy games, the hero breaks into the dungeon. In Malignus, you rule it: a Boss monster, their minions, and the creatures of the caves.
Dig through solid rock, shape rooms, and fill your domain with workshops, beds, thrones, altars, and traps.
Goblins, kobolds, orcs, gnolls, bugbears, and ogres, each with traits, grudges, and breakdowns of their own.
Dart throwers, spinning blades, gas, fire, and webs, wired to plates, tripwires, sensors, levers, and timers.
Rule as one of four Boss monsters whose powers grow with your treasure hoard.
Send your minions across the overworld, command every raid in real time, and bring the treasure home.
Play alone, or build and manage one shared dungeon in 2–4 player co-op.
Early Access
The free demo is on Steam now. It is also our beta test, and it holds everything in the current game: nothing is locked because it is a demo.
Early Access starts on November 13, 2026. After launch, we plan about one year of monthly updates on a steady schedule, up to the full 1.0 release. Steam Workshop support comes during Early Access.
